Sunday meals should always be special right? With family, friends, laughter, good food and happiness? That is what Gaurav Karnani, director of The Grid thinks as well and that is the reason why he came up with the concept of the Sunday Brunch. The idea is to engage families and provide them with a place where they can have fun.
The Sunday Brunch atmosphere at The Grid is pretty much like a carnival. There is music, there are kids playing around, cartoon characters walking by, lots of good food, alcohol and much merry-making. Grid X, the private dining room is the main area where the brunch is laid out. From Jell-O shots to vodka soaked watermelon bites, salads and cold cuts, main course, delicious desserts which includes some rare ones like batissa and aflatoon, you will get everything there. Also available are chaats, waffles (which is probably the best I’ve had in the city) and milkshakes from live counters set up by the dining area. And if you still want more food, you can order from the very extensive menu. The best part is that the Sunday Brunch extends to 6 pm so if you are the type who hates going out of home on a Sunday morning, you can stroll by later in the afternoon as well to enjoy the grub.
I like The Grid because the quality and taste of the food they serve is top notch, courtesy Chiranjib Chatterjee, Corporate Chef of The Grid. They do not compromise on portion size and the food and alcohol is not exorbitantly priced. The Sunday Brunch is Rs 800-plus without alcohol, Rs 1,200-plus with alcohol and Rs 800 for the kids menu. It is definitely worth many visits!!
