Last Saturday, Himalaya Herbals conducted an event in Kolkata with the media and some city bloggers to showcase their hair care range. It was held at Bridgette Jones Salon and I really had a great time that day.
I do take good care of my hair by eating a lot of protein and nuts, going for oil massages and deep conditioning treatments but I still have the problem of dry ends and of course moderate hair fall. Bridgette checked my hair and recommended the Himalaya Herbals Anti-Hairfall Treatment. I was whisked away into a separate room, the lights were dimmed, the aromatic oil diffuser was switched on and my treatment started.
The first step of the treatment was a 10 mins hair massage using the Anti-Hairfall Oil from Himalaya Herbals. The massage is always the best part of any hair related treatment and you can well imagine how relaxed and also sleepy I must have felt after the ten minutes. The oil was then washed off with the Anti-Hairfall Shampoo and then followed another 10 mins massage. This one with the Anti-Hairfall Cream. Once the massage was done, steam was applied for 15 mins to the hair and finally washed off with shampoo and conditioner. After the blow dry, my hair felt so soft and smooth and it also looked really healthy and shiny.
Bridgette gave me some hair care tips and she mentioned that one of the mistakes that most us make when it comes to hair masks or conditioners is that we apply it on dripping wet hair and we do not keep it on for a longer time. I’m guilty of that as well! The right way to apply conditioner is to first towel dry the hair, then apply it only to the ends and finally, to keep it on for atleast 10 mins wearing a shower cap so that the cream can get into the strands. If you have very dry hair, keep it on for around 20-30 mins.
Himalaya Herbals was generous to give me a goodie bag with all the products that were used for the treatment and I’m definitely going to do it at home at least once a week now. Thanks Himalaya Herbals and Bridgette Jones for the happy hair afternoon 🙂
