Getting my Bling On with Koovs, Prerto and Miss Flurrty!

‘Tis the season to be jolly, blingey, sparkly, shiny and pretty! And I have added a few pieces to my sparkly jewellery collection from Koovs, Miss Flurrty and Prerto to look pretty :D.

First up is a bracelet and a pair of earrings from the MAWI X Koovs collection. This collection I was eagerly waiting for and it did not disappoint. The design and finish of each piece is awesome and the prices are also very reasonable. I started off with the Skull and Gem Bangle and the Pyramid Pearl Droplet Earrings. Then realised that two is definitely not enough and went ahead and ordered for two more that are on their way. These are what I have currently.

Miss Flurrty was giving 30% off on some of their jewellery some time back and I picked up these crystal earrings and the necklace. Simple designs but they instantly glam up the look.

The last piece is this ‘finger candy’ from Prerto. I was seeing a lot of pictures of the Bollywood brigade wearing Prerto jewellery and thought they would be super expensive but they are not. This ring cost me Rs 1600 and I’m in love with it!

You all know about my makeup addiction. There’s also another thing that I’m addicted to and that is jewellery. Nope not of the ‘real’ kind but mostly costume and silver jewellery. And it is to fuel this addiction that I’m constantly on the hunt for stores that sell interesting pieces obviously at affordable rates. During one such surfing session for online stores, I came across SHE, a Kolkata based accessories store on Facebook that sell jewellery and watches.

With the opening of Kolkata’s newest Quest Mall, we now have access to a lot of brands that were only available in cities like Delhi and Mumbai till date. Kiehl’s, Crabtree & Evelyn, Parcos, Lifestyle, Gucci, Burberry, Michael Kors etc have all set up shop here and looks like the shopping scenario in Kol is all set for a major brand boost. Among the latest entrants is an accessories brand founded by an erstwhile child movie star, Ayesha Kapur. Yup, she was the talented little girl in the film Black and she also happens to be the daughter of Dilip Kapur, Hidesign’s owner.

Ayesha is of course no longer a child and has grown up to be a beautiful and trendy teenager and her brand, Ayesha Accessories reflects her style. If you are fashionable, experimental and constantly evolving then you are definitely an Ayesha girl. The store opened up at Quest about a month ago and in this post, I’ll give you a glimpse of what you can expect when you walk inside.

Since its an accessories brand, obviously that’s what you will get in plenty. There are earrings, bracelets, clutches, sunglasses, neck pieces, pendants, rings, scarves, slippers etc and the good thing is that the products are not just for girls/women. There’s something in there for the men as well. Since Ayesha Accessories targets mainly the young woman category, they have kept the prices of the products pretty reasonable as well. They range from below Rs 300 to Rs 2000 and I loved the bright and colorful pieces. The store itself is decorated very well in pink, white and other bright colors and even though its not too big, I like that the racks are organised based on the color of the products. So there are gold, silver, neon sections and it helps to see everything together. The spring summer collection is now in stores and as expected, there are a lot of bright colors. I loved the hairbands, clutches and earrings and would definitely recommend you to visit the store to check out the collection yourself.

1. COB & PEN Genie’s Tote Bag – There are 6 colors available in this design but I was instantly drawn to the royal blue one. So rich and love the gold and blue combo.

2. Heart Soul Tito Sandal, Blue – This instantly reminded me of spring/summer. So pretty!

3. Cute Embroidered Dress – Precisely why I like it :)..so cute and so summery!

4. Rose Gold Sequin Top – I love anything that is rose gold and this top even has sequins in it. Love!

5. Starbucks Coffee Necklace – This has got to be the cutest necklace I’ve ever seen. Look at that detailing!

Inside My October Fab Alley Jewel Box

I received the October Fab Alley Jewel Box last month but missed out on showing the contents to you so here goes. As always, I picked the Glam box and loved the jewels that were sent to me. So sparkly, colorful and perfect for this season!

I got two neck pieces and a pair of earrings. I love anything that is chunky and has crystals and rhinestones and these pieces have a lot of them! They are totally my style and all of these for Rs 1000 is pretty good don’t you think?
