Memebox Special #12 Vitamin Care Box – Unboxing, Review

August 13, 2014

There will be a lot of Memebox unboxing posts on the blog from now on because I’ve been on a Memebox buying spree like many of you. Why do these guys come up with such amazing boxes practically every day yaar! So tough to resist. I think I have to submit a petition to them to only release one box per week to help women like me who just do not know how to practice any form of self-control! But then, these boxes are so good 🙁
I got home about an hour back to find the Memebox Special #12 Vitamin Care box in my room and I quickly took pictures (sorry for the bad quality) to show you what’s inside the box so here goes.
Memebox Special #12 Vitamin Care Box
Get ready for summer with this Vitamin Box! It’s a breakthrough in beauty because it delivers powerful anti-aging and skin and body firming vitamins deep down into skin! Vitamin enriched products in this Vitamin Box work together to revitalize, brighten and optimally hydrate deep into the skin and body so that you can have that sunshine glow! Vitamins A, C, D an E firm up the skin to support healthy collagen production, and re-energize exhausted skin by plumping up weak vessels under the skin to diminish the look of fines lines and wrinkles! This Vitamin-in-a-box is all you will ever need to preserve the youthful vitality of your skin! Don’t just pop in vitamin tablets! Pop open this Vitamin Box to vitalize your skin!

Elizavecca Real White Vita-Sauce 30 – 50 ml ($48) – This is a very concentrated Vitamin C facial ampoule supposed to provide moisture, whitening care, wrinkle care and skin protection. Vitamin C is excellent for the skin and I’ve had great results using the Kiehl’s Line Reducing Concentrate that also contains Vit C. My Kiehl’s product just got over and this could not have come at a better time. The product card says you need to use only 2-3 drops of the ampoule and going by the size of the bottle, I’m sure it will last me for at least 4 months if I use twice a day. Excited to see if it works. Still can’t understand the relation between the cute piggy and Vit C though!
Elizavecca Real White Vita-Sauce 30
Amini Vitamin Shower Body Soap Bar – 120 g ($12) – The name says Shower Body Soap but the product card instructs you to gently massage the foam on to the face so kinda confused. I don’t use soap on my face so will use it in the shower.
Amini Vitamin Shower Body Soap Bar
Pure Smile Hand Gel Citrus Crash – 30 ml ($2) – This is just a normal hand sanitiser. Good to have but it does not go with the theme of the box. Would have preferred something else.
Pure Smile Hand Gel Citrus Crash
Pure Smile Gelee Labo Marmalade – 12 gm ($1) – This is a wash-off facial mask that looks exactly like orange marmalade. I’ve heard very good things about this mask but the size is way too small and this is not a full size product even though the product card says so. I’ve found out that the full size product is 80ml. Not good Memebox 🙁
Pure Smile Gelee Labo Marmalade
Pure Smile Lip Treatment Mix Fruits – 10 gm ($5) – Contains Snail extracts, Collagen, Hyaluronic Acid, vitamin E, shea butter and macadamia seed oil. I don’t think I’m brave enough to apply snail extracts on my lips so need to find someone who will.
Pure Smile Lip Treatment Mix Fruits
Evas Vitamin Sun Cream SPF38 PA++ – 50ml ($11) – A vitamin-rich sunscreen that guarantees UV protection, wrinkle care and skin brightening effects all in one! A sunscreen is always handy but I’m praying this does not turn out to be too rich and makes me sweat like crazy.
Evas Vitamin Sun Cream SPF38 PA++
Pure Smile Juicy Point Pads Lemon & Orange – 17ml * 2 ($2) – I’ve never used a point mask and did not even know these existed. You need to stick these on areas of the face that are irritated or dehydrated for 5-10 mins and pat on the essence after removing the pads. Very interesting concept and eager to see if these work.
Pure Smile Juicy Point Pads Lemon & Orange
I paid $29.00+ $6.99 in shipping for a total of $35.99 and received $81 worth of products in my box which is not too bad. In terms of products, the star of the box is is definitely the Elizavecca Real White Vita-Sauce. The rest of the products are good but can’t say that I’m super excited by them. For me, this box is a ‘good to have’ rather than a ‘must have’ unless you really want these products. The Vitamin Care box is still in stock and it also has a free upgrade to express shipping. Click the link to buy.

Did you get the Vitamin Care box? What did you think of it?

Memebox #Hair and Body 2 – Unboxing, Photos, Review

August 4, 2014

And I am officially addicted to Memebox!  Have been ordering them like crazy since the last month and today I will show you the latest one – #Hair and Body 2 packed with full size products for the skin, hair and feet. I paid $23 for this box plus the standard rate of $6.99 shipping and received six products with a total value of $115.
Memebox #Hair and Body 2

Let’s get straight to the contents of the Hair and Body 2 box and my thoughts on them.
1. Kocostar Foot Therapy 40 ml 1 ea ($9) – I’ve been wanting to use these peeling foot packs for a while now and I was hoping to get one in the box and Memebox did not disappoint. The product card says that it looks like a pair of translucent socks that you wear and during the next few days dead skin will gradually peel off from your feet. Excited to try this out and see if it really works.

2. Label Young Shocking Holjjuki 100 ml ($21) – This product is a bummer for me. Its a slimming cream that works to remove unnecessary residue piled up deep within the skin. Contains green tea and algae extracts. I’ve never tried slimming products because I don’t think they work and besides the amount of fat I’ve managed to accumulate over the years, it will take at least 5000 creams to work any magic!
Label Young Shocking Holjjuki
3. Spa Vita Berry Shampoo & Treatment 30 ml ($38) – These two products contain 10 kinds of berry extracts and smell so good! Slightly disappointed with the size and quantity though. The product card says full size but they are only 30 ml. And the quantity of the shampoo is way less than 30ml. Lets hope they work well on my hair.
Spa Vita Berry Shampoo & Treatment
4. Vidanail L.vida Lavender Oil 10 ml ($10) – How pretty does this bottle look? It’s not nail polish but lavender oil to nourish and protect damaged nails. And it also has real lavender pieces inside the bottle!

5. Evas Cosmetics Body Net 7Days Project 200ml ($6) – This is a shower gel and I got the fragrance Phtoncide. No clue what that is but the shower gel smells amazingly good.

6. Boutique Bebe Hair Salon Argan Oil Essence 60 ml ($31) – The second hair product inside the box and one I’m most excited to try. The Argan oil essence is meant to hydrate and nourish dry hair and can be applied anytime the hair feels dry and lifeless. My hair really needed something like this now because it has become so dry and I’m hoping for a good experience.

Other than that slimming cream, I’m quite happy with the Hair and Body box. It contains products that I’m definitely going to use. This box is out of stock right now but there are plenty others that you can order. One such box is the Memebox X CutiePie Marzia box that contains some really cute makeup products. If you have not tried a Memebox yet, go right ahead and order one. You will not be disappointed and if you do order, can you please go via my link?:)
Liked any product in this box?

Memebox Superbox #42 Birthday Box – Unboxing, Photos, Review

July 19, 2014

Indian beauty and makeup enthusiasts will be eternally grateful to Renu of My Beauty Junction for giving us Memebox. I was unaware of this beauty box that includes skincare and makeup products from Korea till she started raving about them and like a lot of you, even I got curious. I was slightly apprehensive initially because I wasn’t sure if the products would reach me safely but Renu assured that they use registered post so I went ahead and placed a couple of orders. The first box was actually a trial run to see if I get it safely and once I did, I’ve gone slightly crazy. And it is so hard not to! These guys come up with such brilliant themes everyday and they include atleast 5 full size products (no stupid sachets here) which come straight from Korea.
Memebox Superbox #42 Birthday Box
Today’s box is the Memebox Superbox #42 Birthday Box (now sold out) that I ordered about two weeks back. The total value of the products is $98 and I paid $30.99 for the box inclusive of $6.99 shipping which is the rate for standard shipping. These products were inside the box.

1. I Belivyu All In One Hair & Body Wash –
I don’t like these 2 in 1 products that claim to work both for hair and skin but this one actually works! I’ve used it both as a shampoo and body wash and have no complaints. My hair feels nice and soft and my skin feels nice and clean. It has got a lovely smell that lasts longer on my hair than on the skin. Great product for travel!

2. I Belivyu Cube Sparkling Lemon Sugar Scrub (7 cubes for 8gm each) – Full size
I must give it to the Koreans for coming up with such innovative products. This one is a face, body and bath scrub that looks like sugar cubes. These cubes are filled with various vitamins, minerals, baking soda, lemon oil and lemon extracts to get rid of dead cells and blackheads. What I like about the cubes is that once you crush them, they don’t turn into a mess and fall all over the place. What they turn into is a foaming scrub which you can use easily. I’ve only used one on my face and it did a great job exfoliating. These seven cubes will be finished very soon!

3. I Belivyu Powder Wash Vitamin Face Cleanser 70 gm (Full size) –
Another innovative product. Looks like tiny powder rice flakes but once you rub the flakes with water, they lather and become a cleanser! Cool right?

4. I Belivyu Flower Hand Cream 30 ml * 4 (Full size)
No idea why they included four hand creams. I would have preferred two more products but these look so pretty and smell so good. Hand cream is something I rarely use because I always forget to carry one around but these are definitely going into four handbags. Love the light texture and smell.
I Belivyu Flower Hand Cream
I’m very happy with this Memebox and I’ve got a a few lined up to reach within the next month. They now have a great Eyes + Lips value set where you can get at least 10 full size eye and lip products for $52 and you only pay the standard $6.99 but get express shipping! Another great deal is the Floral+Tropical Fruits+ Sweet Shop Box where you get 9 full size products for $30 + shipping. If you want to check out the website, please go through my link :). Be fast coz these sell out within hours!

Korean Cosmetics Haul from Jolse.com

November 25, 2013

I recently discovered a wonderful website to shop Korean beauty products from and I thank Sangeeta of Lipgloss Affairs profusely for mentioning it. The website is http://jolse.com/ and there you can get a wide variety of products from Korean beauty brands like Etude House, Holika Holika, Missha, TonyMoly, Innisfree etc at very reasonable rates.

I have ordered from Jolse twice and there are quite a few reasons for me recommending it to all of you wanting to try Korean products:

1. They have a wide variety of products and brands to choose from
2. They have free standard international shipping (without tracking no) and send stuff via registered post so there is very little chance of the package getting lost. Also, no customs issues
3. They give free samples with every order
4. One can earn points with every order that can be redeemed later
5. They accept debit and credit card payment along with paypal

Now that I have established my love for jolse, lets take a look at what i hauled:

1. Etude House Hot Style Bubble Hair Color

2. Etude House Missing You Hand Cream (Isn’t this the cutest packaging ever? Btw it totally smells like Johnson’s Baby Lotion :D)

3. Etude House Magic Bubble Peeling Wash – This is like an exfoliator in a foamy texture

4. Holika Holika Pig-nose Clear Blackhead Peeling Massage Gel – This is really good stuff! Takes only a couple of minutes to peel away all the gunk from the nose!

Now the samples

I will be reviewing all these products in a few days time. Which one do you want me to review first? Do share in the comments below.
