Finally a matte liquid lipstick by an Indian brand that I really like! Presenting Chambor Extreme Wear Transferproof Liquid Lipstick in the shade 405 described as A long lasting transfer proof liquid lipstick with a smooth sensorial feel and a creamy matte finish. Its extreme matte coverage provides a deep intense color in just one stroke. The lipsticks are priced at Rs 845 for 6ml
Chambor has launched 18 shades in this range and they are mostly neutrals. I also heard that some of the shades are dupes of the Kylie liquid lipsticks so have to take a closer look at the range again. Meanwhile, lets talk about the 405, a beautiful plum brown color.
The lipstick is light, goes on smooth and the color payoff and coverage is very impressive. It takes a bit of time to dry but once it does, the color stays put for nearly 5-6 hours. One of the major pain points of matte liquid lipsticks is dryness and Chambor has ensured that this range or atleast the lipstick I have does not give me that pain. No liquid lipstick will be hydrating but this one feels very comfortable even after couple of hours. However, one thing you must keep in mind while applying liquid lipstick is that prepping the lips beforehand is of prime importance. It gives a much better finish and the lips don’t look gross after a few hours. Just scrub, apply a lip balm and wipe it off before applying the lipstick.
Overall, I’m impressed and honestly think that the quality is much better than the Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks. Planning to get a few more. If you have tried these out, do recommend some shades in the comments below.
