Years back as a teenager when I was plagued with oily skin and pimples, the first products I used to combat those problems were the Clean & Clear Foaming Face Wash and the Oil Free Moisturiser. With age, my skin changed from oily to combination-dry and I moved on to products that suited my dry skin. Recently, I tried out these products once again to see if they are still as effective as they were back then and I can say that some things never change 🙂
About The Product
CLEAN & CLEAR® OIL FREE MOISTURISER has an oil-free formula that moisturises without greasiness, and does not clog pores. The salicylic acid in it helps prevent pimples and keep your skin looking clean and clear!
Price
Rs 80 for 100 ml
- It has a flip-top packaging and I like that the bottle can stand upright. Makes it convenient to place on the dresser
- The moisturiser has a mild pleasant smell and has a medium consistency – not too thick or too runny. The texture is also light
- It is a white lotion and you need a small amount to moisturise. The lotion absorbs into the skin immediately and leaves the skin matte. If you have very dry skin, it will probably not be enough for you but if you have oily skin, it will work well to control oil secretion and moisturise
- I don’t have pimples and breakouts right now so can’t say if it prevents them but the moisturiser did work on my skin back when I faced those issues
- The lotion has salicyclic acid but it does not sting or irritate the skin.
As teens, the Clean & Clear products are probably the first we try out to deal with troubled skin. And usually, we move on to different products as we get older but try going back to these classics if you have oily and pimple prone skin. Use the Foaming Face Wash and the Oil Free Moisturiser together and I’m sure you will see good results.
