Want to tantalize your taste buds with some melt-in-the-mouth Kebabs, Biryani, Nehaari and Raan Musallam? Head over to Kenilworth Hotel’s Marble Room where Chef Anjum Hasan is rustling up an Awadhi treat. Andaaz Ae Lucknow is on till 14th Feb and the menu has been specially designed and planned by Chef Anjum, a specialist in Lucknow cuisine. She is also well known for organizing food festivals in many Indian cities and also in Dubai and Lahore.
I was invited by Kenilworth for a tasting and gorged on the Kebabs and Nehaari Gosht. The Zafrani Tava Murgh and Mutton Galawati Kebab are a must try. Vegetarians will like Channe Ke Shammi Kebabs.
Nehaari Gosht was my favorite in the main course. Soft and succulent mutton cooked in mustard oil and spices. Best paired with the Ulte Tawa Ka Paratha or Khamiri Roti. What is Lucknow food with Biryani and you can choose from Murgh/Gosht Dum Biryani or the Subz Dum Biryani for the vegetarians. Another dish I loved was Paneer Ke Dulme or stuffed cottage cheese cubes cooked in a spicy tomato gravy. This is a dish created by Chef Anjum and it tastes lovely! For dessert, I had my favorite, Shahi Tukra .
Andaaz Ae Lucknow is on till 14th Feb and available only for dinner at The Marble Room, Kenilworth Hotel.
