15th April we Bengalis will celebrate our New Year and to mark the occasion, I wanted to do something new and different. A haircut was on my to-do list for a long time but something or the other was coming in the way. Last week, the deed was finally done and it was courtesy Rohit Solanki, the creative expert of TIGI. Rohit was in Kolkata for Professional Beauty Expo and he was also there to launch TIGI’s Bed Head and S-Factor range at Creative Zone Salon in Salt Lake. Along with Rohit, Ushoshi Sengupta, I Am She – Miss Universe 2010 was present at the venue.
I’ve been using the TIGI Antidote Shampoo and Conditioner for a while now and I absolutely love them! The range makes my dry hair soft, smooth, silky and smell so good. I use no 2, which is meant for slightly dry hair. No 1 is for normal and 3 is for damaged hair. My brief to Rohit was not to chop off the length (Indian girl after all!), give me some volume and a cut that is easy to maintain. And that is what he gave me. Snipped off the ends, gave me some layers, blow dried the hair and voila, my makeover was done!
Here’s a before and after pic. I love my new hair! Thank you so much Rohit.
