A while back, I received some products from PAC Cosmetics and I’ve already reviewed their liquid eyeliners. In this post, I’ll talk about two kohl pencils – Intense Auto Kohl and Long Lasting Kohl Pencil. You can buy them at Amazon and pacbrushes.com.
PAC Cosmetics Intense Auto Kohl
Product Description –
- A retractable and intense auto kohl kajal pencil
- No need to sharpen
- The intense colour & texture of the pencil will add definition & drama to your eyes
- The pencil is waterproof & does not transfer
- It can be used as a kajal as well as an eyeliner
Price – Rs 350
I like that it is a retractable pencil so no sharpening ‘jhamela’ and it also has a pretty solid smudger on the other side for smoky eye looks. All PAC Cosmetics eye liners and eye pencils are manufactured by Schwan Stabilo Cosmetics, the same brand that manufactures Lakme, Colorbar and Faces eye products so the quality is guaranteed. The Intense Auto Kohl has a nice, creamy texture and it glides on the lids and waterline. The color is a dark black and stays put for nearly 6-7 hours without fading or smudging. I would have liked the price to be within the 250-300 range though.
PAC Cosmetics Long Lasting Kohl Pencil
Product Description
The kajal pencil which is never going to make a tear fall out of your eye. You were always worried about your kajal smudging & spoiling your make-up look but this kajal is the answer to all your problems. The intense colour & texture of the pencil will add definition & drama to your eyes. The pencil is waterproof & does not transfer. Hence it can be used as a kajal as well as an eye liner.
Price – Rs 350
This pencil also has a smudger on one side but my issue is that it is not retractable so there is a lot of wastage. But, compared to the intense kohl pencil, I like the long lasting one more because the black is much more intense. It also lasts pretty much the whole day. I wore it for nearly 12 hours once and apart from a bit of fading and smudging on the waterline at the end of the day, it did not budge. I am definitely repurchasing this one and I’m ok paying Rs 350 because of the quality. Other long lasting kohl pencils like the Lakme Absolute Kohl Ultimate is priced around Rs 700 and the performance is the same. If I’m getting the same thing at Rs 350, it is super value for money!
Here are swatches of both. The light makes it difficult to make out the difference in the color intensity though 🙁
