Pantene has always been one of my favorite hair care brands. I have been using their shampoos and conditioners for years now and they have always worked well for me. Recently, the brand launched the new Pantene Hair Fall Control Shampoo and Conditioner and to find out whether the products really work to prevent hair fall, I took up their 14 day challenge to test them out. Read on to know my thoughts on these two products.
Product Description
Your first step to strong healthy hair from root to tip. It is designed to remove oil, sweat and dirt from the hair and scalp that block the way for essential fortifying nutrients to penetrate the hair and at the same time protects it from breakage.
Price – The shampoo is priced at Rs 110 for 180 ml and the conditioner is priced at Rs 120 for 175 ml.
Review
The duo is packaged in the classic white Pantene bottle, with flip top packaging. For the last 14 days, I have actually been testing the shampoo and conditioner against a test shampoo and conditioner that was sent to me by the brand. The test products came in plain white bottles without any branding so I have absolutely no idea what I tested against. I tried the Pantene products on one side of the hair and the unbranded products on the other side and I must say that Pantene fared much better. My hair felt soft, looked healthy and right after washing, I did not see a lot of hairfall.

The Pantene shampoo and conditioner have a lovely, fruity fragrance which stays on for some time. My hair therefore not only feels good but smells good too!
One of the biggest problems that I face with my hair is dryness specially at the ends and I was eager to see if the new Pantene Hair Fall Shampoo and Conditioner gets rid of that dryness. They actually do. The products together have made my hair softer and more manageable. They give good volume and do not turn the scalp greasy. In terms of hairfall, there has definitely been an improvement. The number of strands that I see entwined in my hair brush has reduced and that obviously makes me very happy! Overall, the Pantene Hair Fall Control Shampoo and Conditioner is a great launch for those who are not only suffering from hairfall but for anyone who is looking to get happy, healthy hair.
Here are my happy hair moves thanks to the new Pantene 😀
