Pixi Beauty was started by makeup artist Petra Strand more than ten years back. The brand is known for the iconic ‘Glow Tonic‘ but they have other amazing skincare and makeup products as well. I have been trying out the Pixi Beauty Face Mists for a while now and ready to share my thoughts on them.
About Pixi Beauty Face Mists
The four variants I have tried are:
1. Pixi Beauty Vitamin Wakeup Mist (£16.00) – Boosting Treatment Toner mist gives a revitalized awakened effect to complexion.
2. Pixi Beauty Glow Mist (£16.00) – All-over glow mist for a radiant, dewy effect.
3. Pixi Beauty Makeup Fixing Mist (£16.00) – All-over setting spray for longer-wearing makeup
4. Pixi Beauty Hydrating Milky Mist (£18.00) – A deeply hydrating mist that provides an invisible layer of skin-soothers, making it the ultimate remedy for dry skin.

Pixi Beauty Face Mists Review
Out of the four, I have used the Hydrating Milky Mist the most and it is my favorite. The product comes in really handy on long flights and when you need to give your skin a dose of instant hydration. It is not sticky, nor does it leave the skin feeling oily or greasy. I spray it all over my face and lightly give my skin a pat to let the liquid seep in. It takes a while for the liquid to absorb so wait a bit before applying additional skincare products or makeup. It feels like a cross between a lotion and a mist and is very effective. If your skin is extremely dry, you can apply your moisturizer/night cream and spray this on top for extra hydration. Works really well!
The Glow Mist is my next favorite. My face does not glow instantly after spraying the mist but it works really well as a hydrating primer spray. The product contains 13 different natural oils but it neither feels oily, greasy, sticky or icky. This mist soothes and hydrates the skin very well and preps it for smooth makeup application.
The main ingredients of the Makeup Fixing Mist are rose water and green tea so it smells really good. However, I am not too impressed by its makeup fixing ability. My makeup did not last longer after spraying this mist. Works great as a cooling facial mist though.
The Vitamin Wakeup Mist smells of juicy oranges and I love it. Nothing really special about this one. It just feels very refreshing and it also hydrates the skin.
The good thing about these mists is that they are suitable for all skin types. They do not irritate the skin or cause breakouts. Out of the four, if I had to choose just two to recommend to everyone, the Hydrating Milky Mist and the Glow Mist will be my choices. The other two are not bad at all but they do not do anything extra.
