Go Desi This Festive Season With Rangriti Kurtis

November 14, 2016

A Kurti is probably one of the most versatile garments in a women’s wardrobe. You can be a desi girl and wear it with salwar/patiala or palazzo or you can add an Indo – Western touch by pairing a Kurti with trousers, jeans, leggings or even a skirt. And if you want to be even more experimental with your look, you can also wear your Kurti with a sari, making it the blouse. A Kurti is also versatile in the sense that you can wear it on pretty much every occasion. I regularly wear Kurtis to office pairing them with formal trousers. When it comes to casual dressing and if I’m going out to catch a movie, meeting up friends over coffee or lunch, if I’m out shopping, most of the time I’ll just wear a cotton kurti with either a pair of jeans, linen pants or palazzos. If it is a festive occasion, a Kurti comes to the rescue as well. I just pick out a slightly formal one with either embroidery or embellishments, wear a patiala or salwar, add a dupatta, accessorise with matching jewelry and I’m all set!

Buy Kurtis Online From Rangriti

One brand that I quite like when it comes to Indian Wear is Rangriti.  They have a wide variety of both Kurtas and Kurtis along with various bottoms that you can pair them with. Rangriti is available on pretty much all e-commerce websites but you can also Buy Kurtis Online from their official online store. The price is very reasonable and you can get Kurtis for as low as Rs 300! They also have a wide range of sizes available so it does not matter if you are thin or curvy, there is a Rangriti Kurti for you.

Shopping for Ethnic Wear From EthnicCrush.com

August 2, 2015

With Rakhi starts the festive season and that means, time has come to stock up on ethnic and traditional wear. I’ve been looking for a good online store to buy some kurtas and suits from and I chanced upon EthnicCrush.com, a one-stop virtual shop for showcasing the best of Indian ethnic wear. EthnicCrush offers a wide variety of sarees, kurtis, lehengas and salwar suits in cotton, silk and georgette.  Plus, they also offer world wide shipping, free shipping + COD within India and tailoring service for an extra charge.

The website is very neatly designed so it is easy to navigate. You can choose your outfits depending on the occasion, fabric and the work and they have a pretty huge selection. From daily wear to heavy party wear and wedding outfits, this store has them all. And the best part is that the prices are quite reasonable. Cotton unstitched salwar suits are available from Rs 1,099 onwards and the heavily embroidered ones in silk go upto Rs 7000. I was looking for a “not too heavy yet can be worn to a formal occasion” kind of salwar suit and finally decided on this Navy Blue Jacquard Semi Stitched Salwar Suit from their lookbook. I did not go for the stitching option and just got the material delivered.

When it comes to embroidery and Indian ethnic wear, one of my major concerns with online stores is that the real piece looks quite different sometimes. The embroidery and zardozi will look fab in the pictures but when you get it, it can sometimes be quite tacky. EthnicCrush gave me no such issues. The suit piece looks exactly like it does in the pic, the material is great and the packing was done very well too.

I am very happy with my order and I’ll surely place a few more before the festive and wedding season arrives. If you all are looking to buy good, affordable ethnic wear online, check out EthnicCrush.com.  It is a good place to shop from. They also have a Raksha Bandhan sale starting from 7th August so make sure you check that out.

P.S – The outfit was a gift from the brand for review purpose.
