1,000 chefs, 1,000 menus, 150 embassies in 5 continents
1 dinner to celebrate French cuisine worldwide
Following the success of the first Goût de France / Good France event last year, organized on the initiative of Chef Alain Ducasse and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development, it is back in 2016 and will be held on 21st March. Since gastronomy is a key part of France’s appeal to tourists, over 1,500 chefs worldwide will pay tribute to the excellence of French cuisine by preparing a special menu of recipes inspired by French expertise on the 21st March 2016. Participating restaurants will design their menu based on the following sequence: aperitif and canapés, starter, main course(s), cheese, dessert(s), French wines and champagnes. Each recipe will be based on cuisine that uses less fat, sugar and salt and shows concern for “good food” and the environment.
