If you have not tried any of the NARS Audacious lipsticks, believe me you are missing out on something incredible! The Audacious range was launched around a year back and consists of 40 permanent shades priced at $32 each. Yes, they are expensive but we girls do deserve treats right? :D. I have two lipsticks from the range , both appropriate colors for fall/winter and for Indian skintones.
Revlon is out with its Ultra HD™ Lipstick and Lip Lacquer range and the day I spotted these at Forum Mall, picked up one of each. In this post, I’ll talk about Petunia, a pretty watermelon pink with a hint of shimmer that is not visible on the lips. The price of Revlon Ultra HD™ Lipsticks is Rs 1150.
The name Ultra HD sounds fancy but what exactly does it do? It is basically a name for ‘gel technology’. There is a gel base, rather than a wax, and it’s designed to deliver purer pigments. The lipsticks are also supposed to feel softer on the lips.
In this intense heat and humidity, the last thing we think of is applying a body lotion but there is a new lotion in town that claims to not only address the issue of uneven skin tone but also provide hydration and sun protection without making the skin greasy . Presenting, the new Kaya White Protect Body Lotion.
Nothing relaxes me more than a luxurious and pampering hair ritual so when Moroccanoil invited me to experience one of their treatments at Head Turners Salon at Salt Lake Sec V, I was more than happy to take up the offer. Moroccanoil’s range of hair care products using Argan oil is nothing short of celebrity status but I was yet to try them out and this was the perfect opportunity. Btw, did you guys also think that Moroccanoil is the name of the oil? I did and later realised that the oil is actually Argan and the brand’s name is Moroccanoil 😛
I must thank my favorite makeup artist, Lisa Eldridge for introducing me to Bioderma Sensibio H20. She mentioned in a video a few years back that this was her HG product to remove makeup and that made me sit up and take notice. Bioderma at that time was not available in India so I waited for my trip to Paris to get hold of this wonder product. I went crazy at a French pharmacy and bought two huge 500 ml bottles that lasted me pretty much the entire second half of 2014. Now that Bioderma is officially available in India (Nykaa, Wellness Forever and Noble Chemist), it is time I do a review.
First, let’s start by explaining what exactly is Micellar water and why is it good for the skin.
Originating in France, micellar water gained its name because of the micelles oil molecules in its water-like formula of ingredients. When applied to the skin, these molecules latch onto the dirt, make-up and other impurities sitting on your skin, removing them in an effective and gentle matter. They feel – and look – like a toner, but excel at cleansing the skin, while also leaving it feeling soft and hydrated. There’s no need to rinse after using micellar water, making it a skin-loving version of the traditional face wipe.
