Tang and I go back a really long way. When I was a kid and India had still not witnessed the ‘foreign brand boom’, my dad used to religiously bring back bottles of Tang for us from his international trips. At that time, orange was the only flavor available and I remember how me and my brother would finish off endless glasses of this very refreshing drink. Times have changed. Tang is very much available in India not just in orange but in flavors like lemon, mango and the latest addition, apple. Yup, Tang now has a new flavor – Apple!

I love all of Tang’s flavors and Apple is wonderful too. Refreshing, cooling and perfect for the hot months. In this post, I’m going to share with you an extremely simple drink that you can make with the new Tang Apple. You can prepare it in minutes and it tastes really good. I call this drink Tangy Apple Mojito 🙂
Here’s what you need :
- Fresh mint leaves
- Slices of lemon or freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tsp sugar (more if you like your drink to be really sweet)
- 3-4 tsps of Tang Apple (depends on your taste)
- Soda
- Some apple slices
How to make :
Place mint, lemon, sugar, Tang Apple, apple slices in a glass and muddle (mash) to release the flavor. Add ice cubes and stir some more. Top with soda, some more apple slices and serve. You are done!
