Hey everyone, how’s the new year treating you so far? Can you believe that we are already into the 4th day of 2015! Seems like yesterday I was planning what to do on new years eve and boom 4 days gone! Anyway, I wish you all a beautiful, happy, successful, prosperous and an awesome 2015. May this be our best year ever! :D.
I wanted to start off 2015 on the blog with something really pretty and so, here is the Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipstick in the shade Tulip. Tarte launched these lipsticks early last year and if you love your lippies to give a soft, buttery feel to your lips, you have to get one of them. And a shade I would recommend is Tulip, a pretty rose pink.
The Butter Lipsticks come in an adorable eco-friendly cardboard packaging and have a subtle mint scent. These contain cupuacu butter, murumuru butter, shea butter, peppermint oil and mineral pigments. These lipsticks are also without parabens, mineral oils and synthetic fragrances.
Tulip is a beautiful colour that will go well with a wide range of skin tones. What I love about it is the texture. The lipstick just glides on the lips, feels weightless and gives a lovely creamy finish. The pigmentation is also quite good and you can go either sheer or apply a couple of layers for more colour. The creamy texture means that it does not last for too long on the lips but it feels so good that I don’t mind.
If all lipsticks were as weightless, buttery smooth and moisturizing as this one, I’d be a very happy girl. The Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipsticks are priced at $16 each.
Have you tried the Amazonian Butter Lipsticks? What do you think?
