It started off like any other day. I woke up at 11.30 a.m ( I work at night) , checked the Fb, Instagram and Twitter notifications on my phone, brushed my teeth, washed my face and went downstairs to read the papers and drink my tea. I walk into the living room and what am I greeted with? A huuge box sent by The Body Shop! I open the box eagerly and I find two products from the newly launched Fuji Green Tea range along with some sachets of green tea, a cup, a glass kettle and a fan! I had tea with The Body Shop that afternoon and loved the pampering 🙂
The Body Shop has been coming out with some stellar products and the new Fuji Green Tea range, inspired by a Japanese tea ceremony is a refreshing departure from the usual floral and fruity fragrances associated with bath and body care products. There are seven products in this range created to refresh and detox the mind, body and soul! – Fuji Green Tea Exfoliating Soap, Body Scrub, Body Wash, Body Lotion, Body Sorbet, Body Butter and an Eau De Cologne. The Body Shop was generous to send me the Body Scrub and Body Butter and I love them! The fragrance is not purely of green tea. It is a mix of green tea and citrus fragrance which makes it very refreshing.
About The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Range
REVIVE YOUR BODY AND DETOX YOUR MIND WITH THE BODY SHOP’S FUJI GREEN TEA RANGE SOURCED FROM THE MOUNT FUJI REGION OF JAPAN. IT’S TIME TO CLEANSE, REPLENISH AND REFRESH SO UNWIND INTO A GREEN TEA INFUSED BATH.
The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Scrub ( Rs 1,295 for 250 ml) – Given a choice between a cream scrub and a gel one, I’ll always pick the latter because I find it more gentle and refreshing. The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Scrub is a gentle non-foaming scrub with a light and zingy fragrance. I am not fond of coarse scrubs so this is perfect for me. It is non-abrasive yet does a good job in exfoliating and making the skin soft and smooth. Also, love the pretty transparent packaging of the scrub.
The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Butter ( Rs 1,095 for 200 ml) – The Body Shop Body Butters are cult favorites and I think I’ve tried pretty much all their offerings over the years. Some of them like Shea, Vanilla, Cocoa Butter are heavier and more suited for colder months while others like Satsuma, Moringa are much lighter. The creamy Fuji Green Tea Body Butter falls in the lighter category so you can use it throughout the year. It’s the same green tea & citrus fragrance and I like that it absorbs into the skin very fast leaving it nicely moisturized. The smell does not last for too long though.
If you have always tried floral and fruity fragrances, then do check out the “different” Fuji Green Tea range from The Body Shop that is perfect for our hot and humid weather. I’m sure you will love it just like I do!
