About French Lavender Massage Oil
The relaxing powers of lavender are legendary – particularly renowned in France, where in the 14th century, King Charles VI demanded pillows filled with lavender to soothe him to sleep. Lavender essential oil has a natural relaxing scent which promotes a sense of well-being. Use this calming massage oil as part of our relaxing ritual when you’re in need of a fast-track to tranquillity
- Relaxing massage oil
- Soothes body and mind
- With lavender from the south of France
Lavender has been used for centuries to soothe and relax so this herb obviously had to be part of the Spa of the World range. The oil is extracted from hand-picked French lavender and the smell is deliciously fresh, floral and relaxing. Apart from the fragrance, I like that the oil does not sit on top of the skin after massaging it in. Could also be due to the fact that my skin right now is quite dry so it just soaks in the oil. No greasy, oily feeling at all. I will need to check the effect when summer really sets in.
I have used the oil both pre and post taking a bath and I like how fresh and hydrated my skin feels afterwards. I know that the oil is a body massage oil but also try and rub a bit onto the temples before bedtime. Super soothing and you will sleep quite well.
I have my eyes on some more products from the Spa of the World range. Number 1 is the Japanese Camellia Cream. It smells incredible and the tub is so huge, it will easily last for nearly 4-5 months! Have you tried anything from the new range? Are you fond of massage oils? Do share your thoughts in the comments below 🙂
