There is a new subscription box in town and it is called The Red Box! I love beauty boxes but getting tiny samples and sachets month on month was really getting to me and I needed to find something new. I needed something that would not only give me full size products but also contain a good mix of interesting stuff that I can actually use. I found out about The Red Box on Twitter and decided to give them a try. The March edition of the box was delivered yesterday and I’m unboxing it for all of you. However, before I get to the unboxing, here’s some more information about The Red Box.
The Red Box is a gorgeously packaged surprise box full of carefully picked out on-trend fashion, beauty and lifestyle products, delivered monthly right at your doorstep at an unbelievably pocket-friendly price. What’s best is that your box will not be random, it’ll be specific to your chosen style profile. After all, one size does not fit all!
How Do You Select The Box ?
You go to http://www.theredbox.co.in/, click Choose Your Box, select your style profile, select your subscription plan (1,2,3,6 months), pay the money and wait for the box to be delivered.
What is the payment structure ?
Any month’s subscription closes on the 15th of that month, all payments after that will automatically be considered for the next month. For example, to receive March’s box you have to make the payment anytime between 16th Feb to 15th March. Any payment made on 16th March will automatically be for April’s box. COD is available.
For more information, check out their website. Let’s get to the unboxing now.
What Did I Get Inside My First Red Box?
- HartBeat Corazon Strawberry Flavored white chocolate – This is from Thailand and tastes great. Chocolate is always welcome!
- Photo frame – Loving the vintage design and the powder blue color.
- Statement neckpiece – This one is beautiful! Blingey but so beautiful. The mix of gold, white and sapphire looks stunning.
- Anti-bacterial hand gel – This is from a brand called Estonia (never heard of it) and I got the smell of Black Vanilla. Looks very similar to the Bath & Body Works hand gels. Quite nice.
- Utility Pouch – Transparent mesh utility pouch. Handy for storing things inside the bag.
- Ceramic Mug – I got a bright yellow ceramic mug with a very cute silicon lid. This looks so cheerful that I’ve already taken it to work to brighten up my days.
What I Liked About The Red Box?
- No samples
- Good mix of products and includes things that you can use
What I Did Not Like About The Red Box?
- There is no information card listing the price of each product so I don’t know if I’ve got good value for money
- For the products I got, think Rs 1500 is a bit too steep. A price of Rs 1000 would have been good.
Despite the cons, I am quite happy with my first Red Box and I think I will continue subscribing to it for another 2-3 months. Hoping to get more interesting stuff in the future boxes!
