Nails of the Day with Maybelline Color Show and Rimmel
Chanel Azure Le Vernis Nail Colour – Review, NOTD
Chanel Le Vernis is free of all bad things which means no DBP, Toluene, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin and Camphor. The packaging is classy and the brush is round, medium in length and covers the nail easily. On the first swipe, it comes across as watery and sheer but the color comes alive in the second coat. I applied three coats to get a rich finish. I’ve been wearing it for a day now and no chipping yet. Being a Chanel, the price is obviously on the higher shade and I think its for Rs 1450. Dunno if I’m ever going to buy a polish that’s so expensive but if you love the shade and in the mood to splurge, you can give Azure a try. Here’s how it looks on me. In the sun, it looks more blue though..
On My Nails Today – Lotus Herbals Color Dew Nail Enamels Go Grapes & Lavender Love
The Color Dew enamels are free of Toluene and DBP and therefore safe for the nails. These are my first polishes from Lotus Herbals and they are quite nice. I love that they come with long handles. For a klutz like me, who is terrible at applying polish on the right hand, the long handles do give some amount of control. The texture is creamy and the finish quite glossy. It takes two coats to go opaque but I did notice that it does not dry out very fast possibly because of the absence of the chemicals. That’s not something I like but can live with. Will now need to see how many days these polishes last without chipping.
Take a look at the two shades and please ignore the terrible state of my unmanicured hands 🙁
Have you tried any of the Color Dews?
