ColourPop is rocking and how! These guys consistently bring out some great new products and their latest is the Ultra Blotted Lip, which is basically a fancy name for a lip stain. There are some differences between the ColourPop Ultra Blotted Lip and the lip stains that are in the market though. The ColourPop ones are more matte, long-wearing and transfer-proof. Plus, the texture is kinda watery and they feel really light on the lips. In terms of pigmentation, these are less opaque than the ColourPop Ultra Matte or Ultra Satin Lips and you need to swipe a couple of times to get full coverage but once you do, these last for hours.
MAC Matte Lipstick Styled in Sepia – Review, Swatch, FOTD
The Limited Edition MAC Matte Collection is soon launching in India (14th Nov in Kolkata to be precise) and I have one lipstick from that range for review today. Watch out for two more very soon. The collection has eight gorgeous shades but I went for colors that are unique and not similar to lipsticks I already own. And Styled in Sepia is a very unique shade.
MAC Styled in Sepia lipstick is described as a “dirty cement beige [with a Matte finish].” It is a muted, medium-dark brown with a hint of taupe. The color is very similar to a shade that MAC has discontinued – Shitake. At first glance, one will probably ignore this brown-gray color but it is actually quite flattering on Indian skin tones. And this is coming from someone who rarely finds n*ude lipsticks attractive!
