Intensely Revitalizing Sleeping Cream Review
The name Sleeping Cream really intrigued me and I somehow thought that this would be a hybrid of a sleeping mask and cream. Usually, night creams are quite thick and heavy but this one is absolutely not. The texture is unbelievably light and feels like a cushiony gel. I find the woody/herbal fragrance to be slightly strong and wish that The Body Shop had toned it down a bit.
Because of its texture, the cream absorbs into the skin very fast making it suitable for those with oily/combination skin as well. For the first few seconds after applying the cream, I feel a slight tingling sensation that ultimately subsides. If you have very sensitive skin, I would advise you to test it out first before applying on the face.
What I like about the cream is the fact that despite the light texture, it moisturizes the skin very well. I take a small amount, massage it in, go off to sleep and I wake up to plumper, softer and more hydrated skin. I cannot say if it has visibly reduced signs of aging or not but it sure is doing a good job in caring for my skin while I sleep.
The Intensely Revitalizing Sleeping Cream can be used on its own but to go that extra mile, I use it along with the Intensely Revitalizing Facial Oil. After washing my face, I first apply the oil, wait for about 5 mins and then apply the Sleeping Cream. That is my simple night time skin care routine which is working very well for me.
Overall, if you are looking for an effective night cream, do check out the new The Body Shop Intensely Revitalizing Sleeping Cream. Unlike most night creams, this one is not at all heavy and greasy and it works.
